New Forest and Surrounding Area

    The open forest and a couple of excellent local pubs are within walking distance.   The cycle networks of the New Forest are 5 minutes away making this cottage ideal for walkers and cyclist alike.   There are many golf clubs within a short drive and special golf packages are available (please ring for details).   Horse riding is also a must in the New Forest with many local stables offering hacking for both the experienced and novice rider.   The coast, too, is with in easy reach with ferries to the IOW offering the opportunity for a day out to this pretty island.

The New Forest and Hampshire Show is held every July at New Park Brockenhurst.

 

Outdoor theatre, concerts and firework displays are held regularly at Beaulieu and Exbury Gardens throughout the summer.

 

Christmas in the forest is something special, with most towns and villages celebrating with lights, decorations, special events and performances.
